Applying for college requires that all students fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA).

Oklahoma's Promise offers qualified Oklahoma students an opportunity to earn a scholarship for college tuition.

REQUIREMENTS

-Must be an Oklahoma resident.

-Must enroll in the 8th, 9th, 10th or 11th grade.

-Must be a student whose parents' federal adjusted gross income does not exceed specific thresholds.

There are MANY scholarship opportunities for students attending college and career tech centers. It does however take a little work to find them based on your needs and future plans. Students can attend career tech as an 11th or 12th grader as part of their school day. To tour or apply for your schools tech center as an 11th grader, please contact your home district counselor or the TCLA counselor. Tours and interviews happen early in the sophomore year, so do not delay.

Some career tech centers also offer adult programs.
